Request a Quote for Wix introduces advanced functionality for your e-commerce store. Store owners can allow customers to submit requests for quotes instead of (or in addition to) purchasing. This is helpful for service providers, B2B retailers, event planners, etc. who want to collect information from prospective customers/clients before the purchase decision is made.

1. Install the App
You must first install the app from your Wix Editor screen. To find the app, visit: https://www.wix.com/market/request-a-quote-for-wix?referral=developer&appIndex=2&referralTag=wd-strategies&referralSectionName=developer-page
2. Add the widgets to the cart page and create an admin page to review the quotes
You can add the cart widget to your cart page. Then you can customize the fields' look and feel, as well as choose the fields that you wish to collect.
3. Adding the Quote Review Widget (only available with "Business" Plan
For many B2B sellers, you may want to completely eliminate the display of pricing from the cart (or "quote") page, as well as remove the ability for customers to pay online. Our Quote Review Widget is designed for exactly this use case.
First, you'll want to hide the default Wix cart from view. That's done by enabling "Developer" mode, selecting the cart widget, and setting it to be "hidden" on your page.
Then you'll add the Quote Review Widget to the site. This gives your users the ability to still manage their cart (or quote) without seeing pricing or checkout options.
Then style the page to your liking.
Here's what that process looks like:
Review Your Quote Requests
You'll be able to review your quote requests in your Wix Dashboard like this:
Set Up Notifications for New Quote Requests
To receive quote request notifications by email, follow the steps below.
First, open the quote request form in Editor (note, this only works for the Request Form, not the Simplified Quote Request Form).
